Common ways to distinguish wires used in wire harness processing

The function of the environment in which the connecting wire is used is different. The selected processing material is also different, and the wire is very different.
The "-" and "/" in the code name of the harness mean the same thing, and the other divisions are more diverse.
1. Wire distinction
Single color wire: a wire whose insulating surface is one color;
Two-color wires: two-color wires on the insulating surface;
Main color: the color with a large area ratio in the two-color wire;
Auxiliary color: color with small area ratio in two-color wire;

2. The composition of the wire color
The color of the wire should be one color first, and then two colors;
3. Marking of wire color
The color of the wire is indicated by the color code, such as a single-color wire, the color is red, and it is marked as "R";
Two-color wire, the first color is the main color, the second color is the auxiliary color, the main color is red, and the auxiliary color is white, marked as "RW";
4. Conductor cross-sectional area
The cross-sectional area of the wire is selected according to the size of the working current. For some electrical appliances with particularly small currents, such as indicator circuits, in order to ensure the due mechanical strength, the cross-sectional area of the wire should not be less than 0.5mm;
The cross-sectional area of the wire is marked in front of the color code, and it is not marked when the unit is millimeters, the main color is green, and the auxiliary color is yellow;
5. Grounding line

Black wire should be used for the grounding wire of various automobile electrical appliances, and the black wire has no other purpose except for grounding;
